Right wingers eat crow. Again.

Powerline and other right-wing blogs have for weeks now been trumpeting their questions about the veracity of a memo supposedly distributed to Republicans on the Hill which called the Schiavo matter a "great political issue" for the GOP. Turns out that it was, in fact, a GOP memo, distributed by a staffer of Sen. Mel Martinez (R-FL), and then accidentally by Sen. Martinez to Sen. Tom Harkin (D-IA). Martinez, despite having physical possession of the memo on his person, claims he never read it.

Ain't that convenient.
